The South Dakota Board of Regents will meet in Ft Pierre next week for their annual strategic planning session.
Board President Kevin Schieffer says this meeting gives them a chance to talk about long range issues and goals….
One of the topics is: “Moving from Transactional to Transformational Higher Education in South Dakota.”
Schieffer says that’s about what higher education can do for communities and society…
Schieffer says they want to help more people get to higher education of all types..
The meeting will be held Thursday and Friday at Drifters Event Center in Ft Pierre.
