The South Dakota Board of Regents this week will get a report on the costs of dual credit courses offered through the state’s high schools.
Those courses are offered for forty to sixty dollars an hour, far below the cost on university campuses.
Regents President Bob Sutton of Sioux Falls says they know the program has been well received……

Sutton says they don’t plan to take action of the courses at this week’s meeting…..

Many high school students need remedial courses in their first year at the universities. Sutton says there is not a firm connection between those courses and dual credits…

The Regents will be meeting this week at the School for the Deaf in Sioux Falls.
