The Executive Board of the South Dakota Legislature got an Monday from the Auditor General into his examination of the Mid Central Educational Cooperative. That is the organization at the center of the GEAR UP embezzlement investigation.
Marty Guindon told lawmakers that they found all the programs Mid Central handled had their bank accounts tied together…..

Guindon says through their audit, they found about one point four million dollars missing…..

Guindon says they found more information about GEAR UP grants than others handled by the cooperative….

Guindon says they began their audit in February of 2016.
