A fatal accident involving South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg is under investigation.
Governor Kristi Noem made the announcement at a Sioux Falls news conference late yesterday (Sunday) afternoon….

The Department of Public Safety has now said that Ravnsborg hit and killed a pedestrian just west of Highmore. Ravnsborg told the Hyde County Sheriffs Office he had hit a deer. The pedestrians body was found Sunday morning and has been identified as 55 year old Joseph Boever of Highmore.

Ravnsborg said in a statement “I am shocked and filled with sorrow following the events of last night.” He says he is cooperating with investigators.
