The Associated School Boards of South Dakota has been holding regional meetings across the state to update school board members on upcoming issues.
Executive Director Wade Pogany says it doesn’t look like one overriding issue now…

A sales tax increase passed by this year’s legislature directed millions of dollars to teacher pay.
Pogany says they don’t have a lot of hard data on the impacts of that yet……

Pogany says there may need to be some adjustments to the sales tax law in the next session.
