The Agland Assessment Oversight Task Force meets in Pierre on Monday. The group has been watching over the process as the state moves from sales based land assessments, to productivity.
Senator Jason Frerichs of Wilmot, says they saw some swings as the process began……
Frerichs says they are still dealing with at least one big question……..
Frerichs says because it takes time for assessments and taxes to level off, he doesn’t think the legislature needs to make changes next year……
The task force will also get an update on the school funding formula related to property taxes.
