SD AG Marty Jackley Calls for Changes to Judicial Reform Bill

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says a justice reform bill passed by the 2013 legislature could stand some improvements.
SB70 made major changes in court procedures, and probation and parole guidelines.

Jackley says the bill has some good sections…..

Jackley says the probation sections need to be changed….

Jackley says any changes have to be positive for county sheriffs…..

Jackley says that reform will be an issue in next year’s race for Governor. Jackley will face Congresswoman Kristi Noem in the GOP primary next June.
