A large statue of a fish near the Meridian Bridge in Yankton was toppled by vandals sometime early Thursday morning.

City Manager Amy Leon says the sculpture was on loan from artist Scott Luken, and the damage is disappointing…..

Leon says they are seeing more graffiti showing up on both bridges over the Missouri River….

Leon says they may have to place more cameras around the Meridian Bridge and Plaza…

Leon says they have insurance that could cover damage to the sculpture.
