The Yankton School Board is in the beginning stages of the budget work for the next year.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they are working with the information they got from the 2020 session of the legislature……

Revenues are expected to take a major dive following the business shutdowns forced by the pandemic.

Kindle says they hope Governor Kristi Noem gives schools time to adjust if necessary….

The budget has to be approved by September.
