The annual Beef Bowl at South Dakota State University in Brookings is set for this Saturday. SDSU Extension Beef Specialist Cody Wright says it’s a major fundraiser for scholarships for both animal science students and student athletes.
Wright says the event in the past has helped fund many scholarships and their goal is to raise as much money as they can.
Wright says the barbecue feed will be held in the grassy area just South of the football stadium and starts at 3:30 and runs until 5:30p.m. The football game starts at 6. He says barbecue tickets are available on site and those interested in game tickets should check with the ticket office or log onto GOJACKS.COM.
