A group says a satanic monument planned for Veterans Memorial Park in Belle Plaine Minnesota will be the first in the world put up on public grounds. The controversy began when a memorial including a cross was erected and the city council then allowed any organization to put up a monument, as long as it honors veterans. The Satanic Temple spokesman Lucien Greaves:

Greaves says there have been threats to destroy the monument after it’s placed this spring and they’ve taken out an insurance policy.
