There is a kickoff fundraising event for an addition to the 4-H building in Sanborn County this Saturday, February 19th in Forestburg, South Dakota. The event will take place at the current 4-H building featuring a prime rib supper with free will donation from 6-8 pm along with a silent and live auction. Sanborn County 4-H leader Paula Linke says this addition is much needed due to the increase of their 4-H membership.

She says the building will also be used for more than just 4-H activities.

Linke also stated that with this addition the local area could also be home to some new events.

Groundbreaking on this project is planned for May 2023.
