Ryan Brunner, the current Commissioner of the South Dakota Office of School & Public Lands is running for another four-year term.
He was officially nominated at the state republican convention last weekend in Pierre.
Brunner says he enjoys the campaign season…..

Brunner says they have seen several good years of public land lease auctions…..

Initial reports show over eleven million dollars in lease income for the year.
Fifty percent of the public land managed by his office is in four northwest counties, so Brunner says not everyone in the state is aware of the office and what they do……

Democrats nominated Woody Houser of Beresford to oppose Brunner in November.
