Former Nebraska linebacker Barrett Ruud is returning to the Cornhuskers to coach inside linebackers.

Ruud was a three-time All-Big 12 selection during his three seasons with Nebraska from 2001-04, becoming the school’s all-time leading tackler.

He played eight seasons in the NFL for four teams.
