Secretary of State Steve Barnett says they tried to prepare as much as they could…

Barnett’s office sent out absentee ballot requests to all registered voters in the state which led to a heavy early vote.
Barnett says moving many local elections to the primary helped ease some worries….

Barnett says no one knows how the pandemic will impact the general election in November….

Statewide turnout for the primary was just over twenty eight percent.
