Ryan O’Hearn homered and drove in a career-high three runs, Brad Keller threw seven strong innings and the Kansas City Royals beat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 to spoil Sean Reid-Foley’s major league debut.

Reid-Foley was removed after 97 pitches and five innings, allowing three runs, six hits and three walks while striking out three. Reid-Foley is only the second player in major league history to be born in Guam.

The Royals have placed left-hander Danny Duffy on the 10-day disabled list with a shoulder impingement. The 29-year-old Duffy received an anti-inflammatory shot after allowing six runs in 5 1/3 innings in Saturday’s 8-3 loss to St. Louis.
