Rounds Still Favors Pipeline

Despite falling oil prices, the Keystone XL pipeline still needs to be built. That continues to be the opinion of South Dakota Senator-elect Mike Rounds. He campaigned strongly on that message.

Rounds says while oil prices may be falling now, it is still a volatile commodity…

 

The proposed route of the pipeline would go north to south in west river South Dakota, and into north central Nebraska.

Rounds says the falling price of oil could be a big benefit to business and the US economy…

 

The pipeline is being held up by opposition in Nebraska and by the lack of a Presidential border permit. Republican leaders of the new Congress say the Keystone XL bill will be one of the first they pick up next month.
