An agricultural education exhibit is being planned for the Plymouth County Fair at Le Mars, Iowa.  Inside the iconic landmark structure of the famous Tonsfeldt Round Barn, the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee will hold its “Around the farm in the BARN” exhibit.  Micah Lang serves as the committee chair and says this marks the ninth year for the chamber agriculture committee to feature an agricultural education exhibit.  He says this year the focus will be on “Women in Agriculture.”  Lang says many people within the region will most likely recognize the featured women in the exhibit.  Attendees of the “AROUND the farm in the BARN” exhibit will notice several big screen television sets to portray the “Women in Agriculture” exhibit.  In addition to the “Women in Agriculture” exhibit, Lang says people will notice photos of 100 historic barns from throughout Plymouth County.  The Chamber of Commerce official explains why the iconic landmark structure was converted to an agricultural education display.  The Plymouth County Fair begins next Wednesday, July 27th and continues through Sunday, July 31st.
