Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will work with the rehab group in practice.
McCarthy says Rodgers will be given the whole week to get ready for the Packers’ game on Sunday against the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers returned from a knee injury to lead the Packers to a come-from-behind win last week over the Chicago Bears.
Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins has another initiation coming: a visit to Lambeau Field. It will be his first career start against the Packers on the road.
When Washington traveled there in 2013 he was the backup to Robert Griffin III. Now he’ll be the fifth Vikings quarterback to start in the last five visits to Lambeau Field.
