Chris Paul scored 25 points with 10 assists and tied a career high with six 3-pointers as the Houston Rockets used a big third quarter to pull away and get a 117-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The game was close throughout the first half and the Rockets were up by a point at halftime before using a 43-point third quarter, with 15 points from Paul, to extend the lead to 15 to start the fourth.
Karl-Anthony Towns had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves.
