Republican leaders in South Dakota have turned to a familiar figure to be the next Chair of the state republican party.

Roberts says she also got phone calls from Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds encouraging her to take the post.
Republicans currently hold all state wide elective offices, and have a huge margin in the legislature.
Roberts says there is still room to grow…
Roberts says the party is also on solid financial ground…
Roberts has held a number of state government positions dating back to the late 1980s.
