Ringneck Energy officials are hoping to wrap up their equity drive soon for their $150 million ethanol plant near Onida, South Dakota. Ringneck CEO Walt Wendland says they may be able to finalize their fund raising by this Friday.
He says one additional funding possibility for their plant is to ask the city of Onida to issue $15 million to $20 million in tax free municipal bonds.
Wendland says they’ve increased the amount of ethanol capacity they hope to produce from the plant.
Wendland says if all goes well they could begin pouring cement yet this winter with the bulk of the construction to get underway in the spring of 2017.
