Nebraska republican candidate for governor Pete Ricketts has chosen a veteran of state government as his new running mate.
Lt. Governor Lavon Heidemann stepped down after his sister received a protection order against him after a family dispute.
Ricketts has replaced Heidemann with State Auditor Mike Foley…noting that the two don’t agree on every issue. . .
Foley says he is honored to tun on the ticket. . .
Secretary of State John Gale has said he will confirm Foley on the November ballot.
