Unfinished work will dominate the ethanol industry in the new year. Renewable Fuels Association president and CEO Bob Dinneen says the industry will be waiting several months yet to hear from the EPA on volume requirements under the Renewable Fuel Standard for 2014 and beyond.
Dinneen says while EPA hasn’t had the greatest track record he believes they want to get the RFS volumes right.
With a Republican-controlled Senate in 2015, Dinneen also looks for continued challenges to the RFS in 2015.
