RFA Tells DOE Correct And Update E 85 Data

The Renewable Fuels Association is calling on the U.S. Department of Energy to update its database of E 85 stations in the country. The group says DOE is using outdated and incorrect information that’s been passed on to EPA which is working on RFS volume requirements. RFA Marketing Director Robert White says that’s a major problem as EPA could be basing its decision on faulty information.
White says it’s not a complicated process for DOE to get the proper data out and that the fix is relatively simple.
White says RFA estimates EPA is missing at least 1,000 stations that sell E 85 that were not included in DOE data.
