Renewable Fuels Association President and CEO Geoff Cooper is disappointed in a last minute effort by the Trump Administration’s EPA who issued three small refinery waivers.
He says they’ll be working with the the incoming Biden administration to make sure the RFS is followed properly and a slew of small refiner waivers are disallowed going forward.

Cooper says they’re also pleased to see support coming from several members of Congress on the RFS and making sure it’s handled correctly.

EPA’s action brings the total SREs granted by the Trump administration to 88, totaling 4.3 billion gallons of biofuel blending demand destroyed.
