Residents of Callaway Minnesota Return Home After Truck – Train Accident

The evacuation of Callaway Minnesota has been lifted and all roads are re-opened. Residents were evacuated Thursday afternoon following a crash between a train and semi-truck carrying propane that caught fire. And ten hours later the tanker blew up sending a fireball into the sky. Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander:

Several train cars derailed in the crash; none were carrying hazardous materials. 21 fire departments were on the scene at various times along with eight law enforcement agencies and three ambulance services.
