Senator John Thune of South Dakota has written a letter to U-S Trade Representative Katherine Tai and to USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack asking to place more emphasis on agricultural trade.  The letter has been co-signed by 24 other Republican senators, including Rounds of South Dakota, Sasse and Fischer of Nebraska, Hoeven of North Dakota, Moran and Marshall of Kansas, and Ernst and Grassley of Iowa.  Grassley comments on the issue.

Grassley says he is disappointed the Biden Administration fails to look at agriculture as a major component for foreign trade.

Grassley says agriculture should be included with the Indo-Pacific trade negotiations.
