Twenty state senators are putting their names on a letter to Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson asking him to rescind his support for a lawsuit that would repeal the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA. Lincoln Senator Adam Morfeld says he’s talked to Nebraska employers and what they want is the talent pool that DACA recipients provide.

Morfeld says it’s not a good idea to cut back the potential workforce.

Morfeld says this is why the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce, The Nebraska Farm Bureau and the Nebraska Cattlemen support DACA.
