Democratic challenger Paula Hawks criticized republican incumbent Kristi Noem over what Hawks calls, lack of action on issues that have led to the current crisis within the Indian Health Service (IHS).
Noem says Hawks is politicizing a local crisis, and it’s unacceptable

Noem says a half billion more dollars has been put into IHS to help in the crisis since she’s been elected, and she’ll keep pushing back with facts.
The House Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing next week on Noem’s bill to reform IHS. Noem says part of the bill gives more incentives to potential employees

Noem says she is very excited to see the bill move forward through the process.
