Ribbon Cutting was held Thursday at the Redfield Energy South Dakota Ethanol plant. CEO Tom Hitchcock says the event was held to showcase the new Fiber Separation Technology installed by ICM that makes their plant run more efficiently and produce more ethanol.

He says the new technology will allow them to produce 7 million more gallons of ethanol a year.

Hitchcock says the Fiber Separation Technology adds to other efficiencies they’ve been able to achieve at the Redfield Ethanol plant.

He says their Redfield plant is the second facility using ICM’s Fiber Separation technology that they’ve purchased with the first being a plant in Canada.
