The ongoing investigation of a drug bust in Yankton has resulted in the seizure of over four hundred forty thousand dollars in drugs and cash.
Yankton County Sheriff Jim Vlahakis says it is probably the largest bust they have ever had…..

Fentanyl was among the drugs found in the raid. Vlahakis says that is a real concern…..

The bust occurred last October, when 28-year-old Cory Michael Poelstra and 23 year old Carissa Sayler were arrested at a home on the south side of Yankton. Over eighty-six thousand dollars in cash, along with fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, MDMA and marijuana were seized at the time. Yankton Police, the US Postal Service and the state DCI are all involved in the investigation.
