A recently completed University of Nebraska Study seeks to shed light on what factors rural minorities look for in a good life.
Associate Professor Maria de Guzman with the University’s Child, Youth and Family Studies division, says little is known about what minorities in rural communities find important…
Guzman says knowing those factors are important, because they can directly affect whether an ethnic population leaves or stays in a developing rural community
Guzman says once the final review of the study is over, its results will be shared with academic journals and community leaders that participated in the study.
Minorities from Scotts Bluff, Madison and Platte counties participated in the study.
