The Vikings hope to add to one of their strengths during training camp this season.
No pair of teammates in 2018 totaled more than the 215 catches amassed by Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. With Thielen and Diggs, the Minnesota Vikings were one of only four teams with two members of the 1,000-yard club last year.
The necessity of a third receiver in this passing-oriented NFL, however, was evident during a second-half fade by the offense. Whether Chad Beebe, Jordan Taylor, Laquon Treadwell, Brandon Zylstra or one of the rookies, the Vikings hope someone else will emerge to bolster the receiving corps.
