R-CALF is anxious to work with President Elect Donald Trump on redoing or doing away with the North American Free Trade Agreement. R-CALF CEO Bill Bullard says NAFTA has caused the U.S. cattle industry to accumulate an unworkable trade deficit.

He says the reopening of NAFTA is a great opportunity to revive the U.S. mandatory country of origin labeling law.

Bullard says they’re already asking the Trump administration in their first 100 days to renegotiate NAFTA and bring back COOL.

Bullard says they’re moving forward despite threats from Canada that they will retaliate if COOL is reinstated.
