At their convention over the weekend R-CALF members approved policies for their priority issues going forward. CEO Bill Bullard says they included reinstatement of Country of Origin Labeling, Restoration of cattle markets to ensure competition, Antitrust enforcement, and trade policy reform.

He says their keynote speaker promised to take their message of the need to reinstate COOL to President Trump.

Bullard says they will also push for stronger antitrust enforcement to ensure fair and transparent markets for America’s cattle producers.

Bullard says they’ll also be bringing their priorities to the Senate and House Ag Committees as they write the next farm bill.
