For the first time in several years, there will not be any major outside work on Gavins Point Dam on the Missouri River this summer.
Gavins Point Operations Manager Dave Becker says they wrapped up the final work left over from the flooding of 2011….

Becker says they will be doing some work inside the powerhouse….

Becker says the only noticeable change outside may be in the flow of the Missouri River…..

Becker says they are still a few years away from doing major rehabilitation work on the turbines inside the power plant.
