South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has thrown out a big question for state lawmakers with her suggestion to eliminate the states four and a half percent tax on groceries.

Senator Jim Bolin of Canton says he needs to see more details…..

Bolin, a republican, says there is concern about how it would impact local city sales taxes….

Bolin says legislators will have to consider other big expenses that may come their way…

The Governor along with most other republicans have opposed bills, sponsored by democrats, in past legislative sessions that would have rolled back the tax.
