Pushing to Keep Their Four Lane

Residents in Wagner continue to lobby the state Transportation Commission to maintain Highway 46 as a four lane through the town.

Gerrit Juffer of Wagner again spoke to the Commission during their meeting this week…..

The D.O.T. has proposed rebuilding the highway as a three lane with wider shoulders.

Juffer says there is a small cost difference between the three lane and keeping it as a four lane…..

Juffer said they would like Commission members to come to Wagner…..

Since the Wagner project was not on their agenda, the Commission accepted his input without comment.
