The Public Lands Council recently wrapped up its convention in Boise, Idaho. The group’s members talked about concerns with the Sage Grouse, Monuments Designations as well as Wild Horse and Burro control. PLC Executive Director Ethan Lane says they were also able to interact with the Bureau of Land Management about their Sage Grouse concerns.

He says they also decided to weigh in on any Monument Acts Designations put out by Executive Order and share those concerns with the administration.

Lane says their members talked with BLM about how to best manage wild horse and burro populations.

During their annual meeting, Utah rancher Dave Eliason was elected to serve a two year term as President of the Public Lands Council.
