Public Lands Council Disappointed With Sweeping Regulations Put On Federal Lands

The Public Lands Council and NCBA are criticizing the Biden Administration for the Executive Order placing sweeping federal regulations on public grazing lands covering millions of acres. PLC Vice President and Colorado Rancher Mark Roeber says it’s disappointing local government and stakeholders input is being discarded or ignored in favor of a unilateral decision.

He says his group is concerned about what management decisions will be made in the future on federal lands usage.

Roeber says the brunt of the management plans on federal territory are set by bureaucrats and are difficult to change or make adjustments too.

Roeber says PLC is still working with NCBA and considering which options are available to respond to this recent designation and executive order.
