It is still a few months before the Nebraska Legislature is back in session but it is likely that tax reform will be a priority. Jim Vokal is the Executive Director for the Platte Institute for Economic Research and says Nebraskans need to remember that they don’t have much of a say when it comes to property tax relief.
Vokal says there is a big study in the Legislature working on tying education to property taxes.
Vokal says the state options are very limited.
