Program Funded to Help Native American Students

The Ag Appropriations bill that was passed by Congress and signed last month will provide full funding for a program to help American Indian students seeking higher education.
“New Beginning for Tribal Students” authorizes the USDA to match state funding at land grant universities up to five hundred thousand dollars a year.
