Prisoner Missing from Yankton Federal Prison Camp

On Saturday, July 23, 2016 at approximately 1:40 AM, inmate Johnny Carl Tiner was discovered missing from the minimum security Federal Prison Camp at Yankton, SD. Inmate Tiner is a 33-year old white male. He is 6’3” tall and weighs 191 pounds. The U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies were immediately notified and an internal investigation was initiated. Anyone with information about this individual should contact the U.S. Marshals Service at (606) 864-6993 or your local law enforcement agency.

Inmate Tiner was sentenced in the Northern District of Texas to 120 months for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, with a projected release date of February 13, 2021.

The Federal Prison Camp at Yankton, SD is a minimum security facility that houses approximately 485 male offenders.
