This year’s South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation Prime Time Gala and concert was a huge success raising $212,000 for Feeding South Dakota. Foundation President Ryan Eichler says by teaming up with Feeding South Dakota, the cattle industry has made a real dent in the hunger problem in the state.

He says this year’s Prime Time Gala also helped support scholarships for students majoring in agricultural studies.

Eichler says the reason for the success of the Prime Time Gala over the last few years is due to the generosity of South Dakotans.

Eichler says they’re already planning for next year’s concert and fundraiser which will be held June 17.
