President’s Tweet Renews Calls for Review of Wounded Knee Medals

President Trump recently used a reference to Wounded Knee in a Twitter jab at Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

That renewed interest to review the twenty Medals of Honor that were awarded following the massacre.
As many as three hundred Lakota men, women and children were killed in heavy fire from Calvary troops in December of 1890.
