President Trump issued an executive order forcing meat packing companies to reopen in the face of the ongoing pandemic.

There are questions and concerns from workers about going back the plants under those conditions.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says the Presidents order will also bring protective equipment into the plants…

Rounds says some plants could partially open to help euthanize animals if needed…

Up to thirty five percent of meat processing capacity across the country has been offline due to effects of the pandemic.
