Presidential Candidate Talks Immigration Policy

Friday, GOP Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was in Northwest Iowa and visited via the telephone with WNAX Drive Time Host Fred Forman. Trump says while he still wants a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico also said he supports having some type of immigration program that lets workers into the U.S. legally.

Trump was asked if he’d support an Ellis Island type facility that would vet immigrants before they’re allowed into the United States.

Congress has been wrestling with the immigration question for some time. Neither the House nor the Senate has come up with a solution so far.
