At a White House meeting Thursday, President Donald Trump said his administration will lift the EPA’s Reid Vapor Pressure Rule and allow year-round sales of E15. Renewable Fuels Association Senior Vice President Geoff Cooper says allowing those sales will increase both ethanol and corn demand at time when its needed.
He says consumers have shown in areas where E15 is offered they want the product.
Cooper says E15 is so popular where it’s sold it makes up a large percentage of the total fuel sold.
Cooper says he’s encouraged by the President’s support and is hoping he’ll follow through.
