The City of Yankton is starting to make budget adjustments in anticipation of revenue drops due to the pandemic.
City Manager Amy Leon told the City Commission that they can stay on track for the time being…
The “Triple B” tax dropped about nineteen percent in the last month. That tax depends on visitor spending for the most part and funds many promotions and outside agencies.
Leon says they should continue the current spending plan….
Leon says they have cut some of the city programs that use the “Triple B” funds..
Leon has said more drastic cuts could be necessary this year if general sales tax collections drop.
